What its all about...

Beckingham is a green based ATC camp which is held at the East Midlands Training Area.

The camp is organised and run by South and West Yorkshire Wing. Over 250 cadets attend the camp and take part in a wide variety of activities during the week.

This years program included shooting, a trip to Alton Towers, Command Tasks & Initiative Exercises, and Adventure Training.

The Adv Trg day is held at Pleasly Vale, as you can see most of the cadets managed to get wet... The general idea is to sit on the raft and paddle, not push it whilst in the water!

Beckingham is one of the few camps where we can train the cadets on how to use the L98 Cadet GP Rifle and thanks to efforts from NORSATT (North Region Small Arms Training Team) all the cadets from 2431 that wanted, got trainined on the weapon and fired.
