The James Preston Memorial walk, is an event held every year in memory of James Preston, a cadet from 264 (Skipton) Sqn, who was in a fatal car crash.

Over the years the organisers have rasied 1000s of pounds for the Air Cadet squadrons of Skipton and Keighley.

The 2006 walk took place around Thurcross reservoir, Blubberhouses.
